DACA Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals:

The Obama Administration, on June 15, 2012, announced it will grant “deferred action” for two years to anyone who came to the U.S. before age 16 and is now 30 or younger, if he or she has lived here for 5 years, is a student or has earned a high school degree or GED or served in the military, and poses no threat to public safety or national security.

Prosecutorial Discretion: The Administration announced a deportation policy, on August 18, 2011, that gives lower priority to certain people, such as veterans, minors, the elderly, people in the U.S. since childhood, people with serious disabilities or health issues, victims of certain crimes and others.
